Join Lisa Thurston, a female general contractor who has decades of experience building homes and renovating, for a hands on discussion of the basic hand tools and techniques for beginning carpentry projects at your home. This is a workshop designed for women only (including transgender women of course!), and is best suited to those who have zero to a rudimentary level skillset–it will include hand tools and power drills but will not include big power tools (such as chop or skillsaws etc), due to the limitations of a one hour class!
