After releasing their self-titled debut record, Never Come Down won first place at the RockyGrass Band Competition. Shortly after the release of their sophomore record in 2021, they wowed audiences at FreshGrass, again taking home first place.

Their streak of accolades continued with the Wintergrass Spark Band of the Year award (2022) and a nomination for IBMA Momentum Band of the Year (2022), leading into the release of their full-length album, Greener Pastures, in 2024. Never Come Down has honed their stage presence through national and international tours since 2018, performing at notable festivals such as Iceland Airwaves and Hardly Strictly, playing historic venues like The Freight and Salvage, and supporting celebrated acts including Old Crow Medicine Show, The Infamous Stringdusters, and The Travelin’ McCourys.
