Founded in 2011, Back Woods Road is a high-energy bluegrass band known for its tight harmonies, instrumental solos, and hard-driving sound. From classic bluegrass traditions to the newest styles, the band plays it all. Members include Rich Bernier (dobro, guitar, vocals); Jane Bernier (guitar, mandolin, vocals); John Krainis (banjo, vocals); Mike Conant (fiddle, vocals); Corey Bonnevie (guitar, mandolin, vocals); and Dimitri Eleftherakis (bass, vocals).

Back Woods Road appeals to audiences of all ages and has entertained thousands over the years at venues and events such as the Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival, Thomas Point Bluegrass Festival, the Brunswick Arts Festival, the Pemi Bluegrass Festival, the Whites Beach Bluegrass Festival, the East Benton Fiddlers Convention, the Fairfield Concert in the Parks series, Sunday River Resort, and many others.
